SCORE magazine has been published by the Phillip and Patricia Frost School of Music at the University of Miami since 1992. The magazine provides an overview of the major accomplishments of its alumni, faculty, and students across its program areas including performance and music composition, music business, music education, music engineering, music therapy, and more.
Referred to as the University of Miami School of Music at its founding in 1926, the school was renamed the Frost School of Music in 2003 in honor of its naming donors, Phillip and Patricia Frost.
Between 1992 and 2001, SCORE was published as a two-color magazine and was mailed to alumni and major donors at the start of each fall semester. It was published in full color from 2002 to 2009 with the same cover masthead.
In 2010, the division of University Communications assisted with a full redesign and the publication and mailing schedule was changed to the end of the spring semester beginning with the spring 2012 issue. A digital PDF was also uploaded to the Frost School's website beginning in spring 2012.
