01:10 Ed’s parents are from Spain . They lived for years in Venezuela where he was born . They moved here when he was 8 . 04:22 Andrea remembers not wanting to speak English in high school . Ed is glad he has retained his Spanish language . 06:50 Ed started playing in Middle School . He learned the sax through the public school system . He didn’t practice at home until he was 19 . 08:20 Ed thinks you don’t choose music , music chooses you . Music is always inside you , it’s a challenge to get it out . 16:48 Ed remembers his most amazing time on stage was the only time his father saw him play . He saw lots of people stand up and didn’t know what that meant . He was scared . His teacher told him it was a good thing .
