EXECUTIVE SYSTEM MEMORANDUM NO. 128
1. Pan American has been awarded a letter contract covering
planning for the operation of the Florida Guided Missiles
Range and also covering certain phases of the operation to
be handled by an RCA affiliate in accordance with the proposal submitted to the Air Force by Pan American and RCA.
It is contemplated that the letter contract will be replaced
by a definitive contract covering the full operation of the
Range as soon as mutually agreeable terms have been
negotiated. At that time the work will be subcontracted to
a company to be formed by Pan American and RCA, which
in turn will subcontract with an RCA affiliate for its portion of
the work under the proposal referred to.
2. Vice President Gledhill is assigned to coordinate the New York
Office activities in connection with this project.
3. The following Latin American Division personnel, effective
July 22nd, are hereby assigned full time to the planning provided for under the letter contract;

Executive Vice President Morrison, in consultation with Vice
President Gledhill, will assign additional personnel to the
project as required.
