EXECUTIVE SYSTEM MEMORANDUM NO. 06/74
Effective immediately the Technical Operations organization has been realigned
as follows:
Mr. John J. Tigert is appointed Staff Vice President - Maintenance with responsibility for the Aircraft Maintenance, Powerplant Repair, and Component
Repair functions at the main bases.
In addition, titles of the following are amended with changed responsibilities
as noted:
Mr. Jesse B. Houston, formerly Staff Vice President - Miami Base,
becomes Staff Vice President - Aircraft Maintenance with responsibility
for aircraft maintenance at the Kennedy, Miami and San Francisco bases.
Mr. Klein E. Mitchell, formerly Staff Vice President - Industrial
Engineering, becomes Staff Vice President - Industrial Equipment with
responsibility for Ground Support Equipment, Tooling and Maintenance
Facilities Planning.
Mr. A. V. Pilling, formerly Staff Vice President Administrative -
Technical Operations, becomes Staff Vice President - Management
Systems with the added responsibilities of Methods and Standards
Development/Control, Data Systems Development and Requirements,
Manpower Resources, and Training.
All of the above will report to John M. Wolgast, Senior Vice President -
Technical Operations, with exception of Mr, Houston who reports to
Mr. Tigert.
Messrs. Borger, Weesner and Ross will continue to report to Mr. Wolgast;
their titles are unchanged.
Mr. Norman S. Smith, Staff Vice President - Quality Control, will report to
Mr. James Weesner, Vice President - Maintenance Operations.
