The following Executive Office appointments are
effective as of February 15, 1946:
1. Mr. Harold M. Bixby is detached as
Vice president in charge of trans-
ocean services and appointed Administrative Vice President with headquarters
in Nov/ York. Vice presidents, Dean,
Ingalls, and Gledhili, will report to
Vice President Bixby. In the absence or
disability of Vice President Bixby, Vice
President Dean will act in his stead.
Mr. Bixby will continue to represent Pan
American's interest in China National
Aviation Corporation.
2. Vice President David S. Ingalls is appointed
as Vice President in charge of trans-ocean
services.
3. Assistant Vice President J. H. Smith is
detached from the staff of Vice President
Gledhill and assigned to Administrative Vice.
President Bixby.
4. Mr. S. B. Kauffman is detached as Assistant
to the Vice President and Chief Engineer and
appointed Assistant Chief Engineer.
