The responsibility of the Company's budget for
legal expenses has been placed upon fcr, Thach, as Vice-
President and General Attorney, and in order that he may
be enabled at all times to check such expenses of this
character as may be necessary to be incurred against his
Budget, you are requested not to incur any outside legal
expenses, or to communicate with any of the Company's outside legal advisers, without first clearing the matter with
Mr. Thach.
This is, in no way, intended to restrict your
use of such outside legal assistance as may from time to
time be required, but this method of clearing these matters
through one channel seems necessary in order to keep budget
control over our outside legal expenditures.
