EXECUTIVE SYSTEM MEMORANDUM NO. 100
The following appointments are effective as of August 15th:
1. Mr* John C. Leslie, temporarily assigned on May 1st as
Vice President-Pacific Alaska Division, is transferred
to the System Executive Office where he will be responsible
for intra-industry relationships and for special assignments
of Systemwide nature. He will represent the Company in the
Air Transport Association of America and in the International
Air Transport Association, and will serve as liaison with
the State Department and the Civil Aeronautics Board with
respect to intergovernmental air transport agreements.
29 Mr. J. H. Smith, Jr«, has been elected Vice President and
assigned as Vice President-Atlantic Division with headquarters at LaGuardia Field, reporting to Vice President
Ingalls.
3. Mr. Thomas E. Wolfe has been elected a Vice President and
assigned as Vice President-Pacific Alaska Division with
headquarters in San Francisco, reporting to Vice President
Ingalls.
4. Captain Harold E. Gray is detached as Operations Manager-
Atlantic Division and appointed Assistant Manager-Atlantic
Division.
5. Mr. Frank H. Hankins is appointed Operations Manager-Atlantic
Division.
6. Mr. Arthur Ayres is appointed Regional Manager, Southern
California, reporting to Mr. Thomas Wolfe, Vice President-
Pacific Alaska Division.
The following appointments are effective as of October 1st:
1. Mr. John A. Steele is detached as Manager-DC-4 Conversion
Project and assigned to the System Executive Office as
technical assistant to Vice President Ingalls.
2. Mr. E. E. McVitty is appointed Manager-Dg-4 Conversion
Project.
