War Department Contract No. W-Q8G48-eng. 21, classified "SECRET," has been
executed effective as of July 1, 1944-. Under this contract, the Company
will undertake under appropriate directives certain maintenance, communication and service activities at designated airports in the jurisdiction of
the Latin-American Division.
War Department Contract No. W~1097-eng-2321, classified "SECRET," under
which certain construction and service activities abroad have been carried
out by the Company under direction of the War Department, has expired effective June 30, 1944.
Mr. Samuel F. Pryor, Vice President and Assistant to the President, will
represent the System on all matters relating to the new Contract
No. W-08-048-eng.21.
Mr. Robert L. Cummings, Executive Assistant to Vice President Pryor, is
designated to receive local directives and other routine government communications from the contracting officer or his designated representatives.
Mr. Cummings will negotiate with the Manager of the Latin-American Division for the carrying out by the Division of the maintenance work and services so requested from time to time, including the preparation of
appropriate cost estimates therefor. Mr. Cummings will also be responsible
for securing reimbursement to the Division of the proper amounts due for
the maintenance and services performed.
