EXECUTIVE SYSTEM MEMORANDUM NO. 06/79
The following organizational changes are effective December 1, 1979:
Elihu Schott, Senior Vice President - International Affairs, will
report to the President. Staff in International and Regulatory Services
will transfer with Mr. Schott, excluding Norman P. Seagrave, Counselor,
who will become a member of the legal staff.
John Champion is appointed System Director - International Affairs
and will become deputy to Mr. Schott.
Willis Player, Senior Vice President and Assistant to the Chairman,
will assume responsibility for management of the Public Relations
organization.
J. Howard Hamstra, Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary,
will report to the Chairman.
Thomas G. Cody, Assistant General Counsel, in addition to his
present duties, will assume direction of the following offices and in this
capacity report to the Chairman:
Vice President - State and Urban Affairs: Stanley Gewirtz
Vice President - Federal Affairs: John Krimsky
Washington Legal Counsel
Director - Regulatory h Bilateral Planning: staff transferred from
the Scheduling Department
A Public Policy Committee is established consisting of the following:
