YOUNGER SET READIES FOR YULE PARTY AS SANTA BOOKS PASSAGE
ONE OF SANTA S TALENTED HELPERS
This is Chico Dell, the juggling clown, who will be at the Kiddies’ Christmas Party this coming Saturday. Assisting him in the act are the world’s most intelligent monkeys. It’s the season’s most unique entertainment. See Chico go into his act at 1 p. m. at Bay Meadows.
A CLOWN AND FOUR MONKEYS
Chico Dell Will Appear at Kiddies Christmas Party Following Successful Tour Across U. S.
In the first part of his show Chico keeps his audience in a continual state of bewildered suspense and laughter as a varied assortment of objects-Chinese parasols, billiard balls and cue, Indian clubs-defy the laws of gravity as they “fly through the air with the greatest of ease.”
In the second part of his show
Chico features his trained monkeys. The star of this group is “Sam,” who performs on a hoop 18 feet in the air. Suzanne, Jocko and Mimi complete the cast of this terrific animal act.
The Panair Club is indeed fortunate to have been able to engage this nationally famous clown for the party.
TIME CHANGE
1:00 P. M.
The Kiddies’ Christmas Party is now set to start at 1:00 p. m. on this Saturday. Note that this is ONE HOUR EARLIER than the time that was originally announced.
Doors will be open well in advance of this time to allow the large crowd that is expected to get settled in the Bay Meadows Clubhouse.
There will be signs directing you to the right spot. Santa doesn’t want anyone wandering off Tnd getting lost in the stables.
Remember the new time, 1:00 p. m.
Christmas "Clipper" Will Be Distributed Dec. 23rd
This is a special edition of the “Clipper” to announce the time change for the Kiddies Christmas Party. There will be no regular edition this week.
Watch your favorite newstand for the 12-page special Christmas issue that will be distributed on Friday, December 23rd. It’ll be well splashed with color, and there’ll be a picture from every station in the division.
HE HELPED TOO
* Swofford, who took enough time off from station operating to head the committee for the Panair Club’s Kiddies Christmas Party. Ed and his co-workers have labored long to make this the best party ever given.
Panair Club Anxiously Awaits Santa's Arrival
Large Shipments of Presents Leaving North Pole for Kids
According to Pan American’s reservations control at the North Pole, space is being held for a Mr. S. Claus on December 17th for a non-stop flight from the North Pole to the Bay Meadows clubhouse in South San Mateo.
At first it was fearedi that Santa might have trouble due to the exceptionally large amount of excess baggage he is carrying, but he indicated that he plans to give it all away down at Bay Meadows
In his baggage is a gift for every child ten years old and younger, plus a few door prizes to be given to the moms and dads.
The sign-up for this year’s Panair Club Kiddies Christmas party indicated that almost 1,000 will be on hand to welcome Santa
And just to let everyone know it’s Christmas time, there will be 75 “real live” Christmas trees.
A good old “community sing” will get things underway. Then there’s the performance by Chico Dell, the juggling clown.
While Santa is busy passing out presents to the children, refreshments will be served. There’ll be holiday cookies for all, and for the kiddies ice cream, and for the grown-ups coffee.
Remember that new starting time, 1:00 p. m.
