NC-2-A0 RECEIVER - REPLACEMENT OUTPUT TRANSFORMER
Since the National Company will no longer supply phone or speaker output transformers for the NC-2-40 receiver, we have placed in inventory a universal output transformer for use as a replacement. This transformer is a UTC Type S-15. It is to be used as the replacement for either the phone or speaker output. It may be requisitioned from inventory under PAA Part No. 9068-2432.
The sketch below shows how to mount the transformer and the proper terminals to use for either phone or speaker output replacement:

Terminals used: Phone Output; Pri. 1 and 7 - Sec. 0 and 500.
Speaker Output: Fri. 1 and 7, B t to 4 - Sec. 0, 8 and 500 ohms.
Procedure:
1. Connect 6 inch leads to required terminals on transformer.
2. Mount transformer as shown above with leads outside of transformer.
3. Route leads through holes provided and solder. It may be necessary to loosen mounting screws in order to feed wire leads through holes.
