HEADPHONES AND HANDSETS
W.E. headphones and handsets used by Ground Radio are ruggedly built and stand a lot of punishment. However, a certain amount of maintenance is required to keep them in first class condition.
For your information and guidance in keeping these units in good operating condition, the following replacement parts are available from PAF Inventory:

TELETYPE OIL
Several months ago, the regular teletype oil, KS-7470 (PAA No, 8321-1271) was obsoleted in favor of SAE No. 10 oil (PAA No. 8321-6618). The latter has proven to be an unsatisfactory substitute due to a tendency toward gumming when used for this purpose. If the oil you are now using is SAE No. 10, you should requisition a supply of KS-7470 oil to replace it.
