MEMO FOR FILES
On Friday, May 14, the following points were discussed as between; Messrs. Gray, Blake, and Player:
1. Captain Gray discussed the desirability of having a museum, preferably somewhere on one of the lobby floors of the Pan Am Building. I then told him about the nature of some of the con-
versations that Mr. Rounds and I had been having. I told Captain Gray that I would submit to him a total plan, based on the concept that the
Pan Am Building should be a world showcase. He expressed some concern about what the execution of such a plan would cost. I agreed with him that it might be expensive, but that we ought to take a look at it
2. I told him that I thought Jack Ramsberger probably would be the best person to start developing a management newsletter. We agreed that we would start the experiment, but that we would not take the position at this point that a management newsletter would be established on a regular basis, but would instead evaluate the results of the experiment as we went along.
he could do would be to take Messrs. Lipscomb and Shannon, or go by himself, and visit Pan Am's principal stations, call a meeting of the top operations and sales staff, and quiz them on how we could do our job better. He agreed that he would like to try to do so.
