Main sports event will be the Hurricane —LSU football game. The week-end events will start with a pep rally at noon Friday, Nov. 14. Fraternities will hold open house on Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. Each house will receive almuni and the visitors from LSU. At 7 p.m., there will be a bonfire followed by a vast motorcade to the Orange Bowl. In this motorcade will be floats from sororities and fraternities. The senate is offering a prize for the most attractive and original float in the motorcade. Judges will be members of the student senate. After the game there will be a dance at the Coral Gables Country Club for members of the University and visiting team as well as all alumni, students and visitors. Tickets for the dance will be sold in the Senate booth in the football patio of the North Campus starting next week. Saturday’s events will start with Polls will open al S SO « m Mon day, Nov, 4, and officially cl,we at 4 p.m, the same day Polls will be located 11 room 444 in bldg 44 (next to slop tftop) on lhe Main Campe t and in ihe cafeteria annex the North C.tmpus. Only th.w»o students who have less Ulan 24 credit* may vote; registration cards or student activity books must be presented at the polls in order to vote. Election is by majority vote. In Ihe event a runoff election is required, it will he held lhe following Monday or Tuesday at the same hours and places. Electh n rules are as follows 1 there will he no campaigning within ten feet of the polls; 2. If any group or any individual campaigns unfairly fir a candidate on election day, the election hoard has the right to disqualify the candidate; 3. if any student s found who votes twice or at both i®Us, he will be turned over to the Honor Court for violation of the Student Association honor code There are approximately 3000 freshmen, the largest class In the history of the University.
