              AIR EXPRESS SERVICE
Packages are accepted by all offices of the Railway Express Agency, Inc., In the United States or Alaska, and also at Company offices in Alaska. Air Express is carried on all schedules and the uses of this service are innumerable. Virtually any article which can be shipped by customary express services may be forwarded by Air Express. Experienced shippers use Air Express as a genuine economy be* cause they have learned that the tremendous saving in time and frequency of service means reduced costs of doing business and more satisfied customers.

SHIPMENTS BETWEEN CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES AND ALASKA: Add the total of the weight or measurement and valuation rates applying between Juneau and the Alaskan airport of destination (or origin) to the rates of Railway Express Agency between the U. S. A. point of origin (or destination) and Juneau in order to obtain a through tariff from point of origin to destination.

Principal cities in the United States are now only a few days from Alaska’s Interior Gold Belt, extending from Fairbanks to Flat and Nome. Fast air services from New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles and other cities to Seattle connect with frequent steamer sailings between Seattle and Juneau where direct air service to the interior of Alaska via Pacific Alaska Airways, Inc., is available according to the schedules shown in this Timetable.
