12ACX-2A F3 CONTROL
Dwg. 3B-1063, which was recently added to the TMC instruction book, shows the standard method of controlling ”F3” in a 12ACX-2A transmitter. Drawing 3B-1064, in the GM-8 instruction book, shows the extra connections necessary for controlling ”F3” in a 12ÀCX-2A/GM-8 combination. These two drawings obsolete the ”TMC-T Extra Relay Modification”, GEN-3B-879. In drawing 3D-4-2, sheet 1, 314 terminal block #6 is to be considered the standard line for controlling "F3" in a 12ACX-2A transmitter.
OBSOLETE PANELS
"Transmitter On-Off panels”, GEN-3B-22-2, both six and twelve position, are to be considered obsolete. This does not mean that any panels now in use should be removed but rather that it is expected no more will be installed in future installations. The same applies to "Microphone Transformer Panel - Transmitter End”, GEN-3B-64-A. The only transmitter this panel can be used with is a 4WTFA and then only if no ”Tee” pads are used in the line. In all future installations the line transformer will be installed in the transmitter as shown in Dwg. G£H-17A-647-l.
