Dr. Buffill has written extensively on Cuba, Cuban politics, and the literature of José Martí, Enrique José Varona, and other renowned Cuban writers. He directed Kingsborough Community College in New York City, and has taught at various institutions across New England. This interview forms part of the Luis J.
