Interview with Uva de Aragón, a Cuban-American writer and academic, and stepdaughter of Cuban politician Carlos Márquez Sterling. Uva has published numerous books, both fiction and nonfiction. She is the associate director of the Cuban Research Institute at Florida International University, and has participated in numerous exile groups, including Congreso de Intelectuales Disidentes and Junta Patriotica Cubana.
