Interview with Eduardo Palmer, a Cuban-born lawyer and film producer whose work includes the documentary Havana: a Portrait of Yesteryear. At the onset of the Cuban Revolution, Palmer and his film crew took iconic footage of Fidel Castro’s caravan from Santiago to Havana, Cuba. Disillusioned with the regime, Palmer left Cuba for the United States, living in Miami and New York before establishing himself as a producer in the Dominican Republic. He has since taken up residence in Miami, where he continues to produce documentaries about Cuba and is currently authoring a memoir, Testigo de la historia (History’s Witness).
