Interview with Rodrigo Suárez Báster, a member of the House of Representatives of Cuba before the Revolution. Beginning his professional life as a teacher in Cuba’s rural interior, Suárez Báster became involved with the Partido Liberal, eventually rising through the political ranks to serve in public office. Suárez Báster has been politically active within the Hialeah community since his exile, in addition to his work as a teacher and an accountant.
