Interview with Enrique Patterson, a Cuban professor, sociologist, writer, journalist, and expert on race relations in Cuba. Patterson taught history and philosophy at the University of Havana for ten years. A leader of the democratic socialist movement in Cuba, Patterson became targeted as a member of the opposition by the Castro government, forcing him into exile in the early 1990s.
