In a final decision reached Wednesday, IFC voted 14-3, to ban all hazing activities. Committee members are, left to right. Bill Hawkins, Sigma Phi Epsilon; John Murphy, Kappa Sigma; Geo ge Drivas, Pi Kappa Phi; Harold Wittling, Alpha Tau Alpha; Pete Weinstein, Alpha Epsilon Pi; Bill Mason, Tau Kappa Epsilon; Tom McDonagh, Sigma Nu; and Mark Webb, Delta Sigma Phi. Charles Dulin, Sigma Chi, is not in the photograph. The special committee was formed last month when objections to several parts of the original hazing ban amendment forced postponement of official action. A judicial committee will be formed to try any fraternity violating the hazing ban amendment. Justices will be appointed by the new IFC president at the start of each semester. Vital statistics on Bette include brown hair, hazel eyes, five feet, two and one-half inches tall and 1 IS pounds, (iorgeous George Vickery, Hurricane news editor, will have the honor of pinning the Honey orchid on Bette tonight during halNime at the Orange Bowl. On Sunday at 4 p.m., Bette will be interviewed on the University TV show, “U-M In Review." ONE OF THESE 27 COEDS will reign ns Miami's Homecoming queen later this month. Nine of the girls pictured above were chosen as finalists in the queen contest and their nnnies appear in CAPITAL LETTERS. Finalists were selected Tuesday night by a group of judges composed of Omicron Delta Kappa alumni. ODK, national leadership, scholarship fraternity, sponsors Homecoming festivities. Girls were judged according to beauty, scholastic achievements, extra-curricular activities and poise. Next Tuesday evening the Homecoming queen will lie u-lcctcd and the remaining right roeds will art as members of the queen's court. First row, left to right, are Laura Freud.
