This will be the first of a series of weekly social functions and student activities that is to extend through March and which will be culminated by the social highlight of the school year, the Junior Prom, to be given March 31 at the Biltmore Hotel. Ruth Lutz and Bettye Sullivan are co-chairmen of the Shipwreck dance and have announced that Tom Curry’s orchestra will provide music for dancing. Life savers, deck chairs, naval pennants, anchors and gangplanks will transform the gymnasium into a miniature ocean liner’s promenade deck.
