VACATION PLANNING

Every one of us looks on our "travel benefits" as a real plus in our aviation career. Through 80 or 90% discounts or service charge travel, we and our families have almost unlimited opportunities to visit virtually any part of the world.
All too often, however, we miss chances at special discounts available to airline employees because these programs are published with very limited distribution. We hope in this issue of Flight Ops to make you aware of as many of these opportunities as space will allow. This information should be of some assistance in your vacation planning during the summer months.
HOTELS
SHERATON — 50% discount to all employees and their immediate family. Reservations at any Sheraton call 800 325-3535.
HILTON Caribbean hotels offer GO plan: Barbados, Curacao, Dorado, Jamaica, Martinique, Mayaguez, Trinidad and Virgin Isle offer three day/two night package for $25 p.p. double ($35 single; $22 p.p. triple) available until Dec. 14 except Dorado 'til Oct. 24 and Caribe to Dec. 8. On arrival pay the package price and you will be credited with $15 GO (Guest Option) fund which can be used for food, drinks, laundry, water sports etc. At departure your chits are tallied against the $15 credit and additional charges you pay for. TOURS - Far East
PAN AM has two tours for eligible employees and families. The first is a six-day tour of Japan. First see Tokyo then travel to Nikko or Kamakura and Hakone, then take the Bullet Train to the old capital Kyoto. Price: $85 double, $105 single plus air fare.
The second tour gives the same six days in Japan followed by a flight to Hong Kong for two days of sightseeing and shopping. Price: $105 double, $135 single plus air fare. Prices include deluxe hotels and some sightseeing. Optional sightseeing and nightclub tours are available at discount prices in each city. Call reservations for more information.
