This schedule expansion is indicative of a totally new Pan Am. Since our merger with National Airlines, we have continued to add flights within the United States for your convenience. You can now fly to 26 U.S. cities. Our connections in Los Angeles (see page 2) and Houston are excellent, and you can choose from more Florida flights than ever before. Pan Am’s international service is no less impressive with 47 international destinations. In this newsletter, for example, we announce the return of our nonstop New York—Paris service; also read about our new Miami— Maracaibo, and Miami/Tampa to Mexico flights; an expansion of our Florida—Europe routes; increased New York—Tokyo service, and more. And, as we mentioned in the last FT Newsletter, Pan Am is the first and only U.S. scheduled flag carrier to establish service to the People’s Republic of China. Convenient flights are available on the New York—Beijing (Peking) route, as well as San Francisco—Shanghai—Beijing. Convenient domestic flights and expanded international service, along with relaxing Sleeperette seats in First Class and two-by-two seating in Clipper Class on selected aircraft, are what the new Pan Am offers you.
