Can you for one stand idle and watch our courageous attempt at existence be frustrated I 'because you didn’t think we really needed help? Our plight requires action, soon our courage and skill must be overcome, already our arms ache, our hands become numb (at this point we warn that any wise-cracks will be very distasteful), desperately we clutch again at that one ! shred between us and oblivion, hope kindles and as we think, in our despor- | ation, that we hear help coming, do we? ! "Swede" Rothe) GR-2600 ENGINES A change in lubrication distribution is being made on our GR-2600 engines to allow more oil to reach the valve gear mechanizer of the "top" cylinders. This change was considered desirable because of the otherwise limited circulation obtained due our low RPM - long range operation. No special precautions are necessary in removal or installation of the rocker box covers other than assurance as to the condition of the gasket. Wright GR-2600 Twin Row Cyclones were released for export as of September this year and are no longer under the "restricted" classification. The results obtained from use of Scintilla Compound No. 47 in our ignition harness elbows has been most satisfactory, so continued wailing and gnashing of the teeth can be expected from the Engine Service crews as they perform the job of harness servicing; however, some of the more "Fun-loving" members claim it is more fun than a "taffy pull". "Jimmy" MacKenzio and "Curley" Millsap naturally can’t keep the stuff out of their hair.
