Excellent complimentary meals are served in flight.
If you desire the comforts of your own living room, fly on one of Pan American’s luxury Boeing Super Stratocruisers . . . you have a choice of two services—“The President” or the extra fare “President Special.” You’ll relax in air-conditioned comfort in your large lounge chair which adjusts for reading or sleeping. There’s no extra charge for the delicious full-course meals, in-between snacks or cocktails. If you wish, wander down to the lower lounge to chat with your fellow passengers over refreshments—served to you by an attending steward who is there to see that your every wish is realized. On the “President Special,” Sleeperette* Service is featured —and on both services, at a slight surcharge, bed-size berth accommodations are available.

Under the Pan American Pay Later Plan you simply pay as little as 10% down and take up to 20 months to pay the balance in convenient amounts after you return. No need to disturb your savings, no collateral is called for; you merely sign an application, a note, pay the small deposit and you’re practically on your way.
GENERAL INFORMATION
RESERVATIONS AND FINAL PAYMENT—A deposit payment of 25% of the selling price is required at the time of acceptance of the itinerary. This payment can be made through the agent or office from whom you receive this folder.
The prices quoted are based on rates of exchange and tariffs in effect on day of printing and in case of any marked increase or decrease in the cost of foreign currencies or tariffs before final payment is made, the American Express Company reserves the right to alter the tour price accordingly. The accommodations, services and rates specified herein are offered subject to the ability of the American Express Company to arrange and confirm them.
TRAVEL FUNDS—Be sure to protect your travel funds by carrying American Express Travelers Cheques, which are sold by thousands of banks, by Railway Express Agency, Western Union offices and by many travel, railroad and steamship agents, and of course by American Express offices.
