That it hereby goes on record as requesting the allocation of suitable flight .equipment to be' used in tho mainland-Hawaii run'to Pan American Airways, and the, return of the operation of said Airwayp to civilian control and the offering by said Airways of commercial services for civilian .passengers, subject to such governmental rogulation as may be necessary for internal security purposes.’1 ■*• . * , In its preamble, Athe resolution points out that commercial air;, service for passengers and air express is now being operated! by American civilian organizations between America and European, African and South American communities and that the civilian community of Hawaii is greatly in need of air transporation between Hawaii and the mainland. Tho Hawaii legislature asks that certified copies of the resolution be sent to the President, CAB and other jurisdictional agencies of the Government, CLIPPER SERVICE TO EUROPE oO The fast Clipper Express service of Pan American World Airways is available to American business houses desiring to rush any type of rehabilitation material to Europe so that recently liberated countries can start rebuilding and replenishing depleted stocks.
