Pan Am D Dl AEROSPACE SERVICES DIVISION Pan Am Public Relations, MU 517 PAFB, Building 423, Room 3-227 Telephone: 494-5784 WORLD TRAVELERS TO MEET 14 JULY The Pan Am World Travelers will meet at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, 14 July 1972, at the First Federal Bank Annex, Fields Plaza, Merritt Island. Jean and John Lane will present a slide and movie program on Chiang Mai and Kuala Lumpur. Visit Chiang Mai, Thailand's most charming northern city. Tour an umbrella factory, a silk factory, a wood carving factory. Admire the dragon staircase of Doi Suthep temple near the summer palace of the royal family. See elephants at work in a logging area. Visit the Chiang Dao caves with many sculptures of Buddha. Tour the nearby city of Pusang, the city of beautiful women. Walk through a White Karen village. In Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, see tin being dredged, visit a pewter center, observe the only five legged cow in the world. Visit the Batu caves. The 20 minute movie will include Thai native dances and Malaysian folk dances. All are welcome. Free admission. Volunteers are wanted to present slide or movie programs in September and following months. If you would like to present a program, please contact Art Chilton at 452-4597 after 5 p.m. or Jean Lane at 853-9011. Downrange employee Walter T. Wood joined the company in November I960. His address is Route 1, Box 745A Jensen Beach, Florida. Charles J. Elder of 1307 E. Jernigan Avenue, Melbourne was hired in October 1958. He was a Supervisor in Food Services. Paul Washington joined the company in July 1955. His address is P. O. Box 246, Sharpes, Florida. He was a janitor. Service Supply Clerk William H. Staples was hired in March I960. His address is 913 Acacia Way, Cocoa. Max C.
