FSU CIRCUS NOVEMBER 9-10 The Florida State University "High Flying Circus" will be at Merritt Island High School on November 9 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. and November 10 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $2.00 for adults and $1.25 for students and children. The circus is sponsored by the Seaside Lions Club. For more information call Dick Cale, 452-0750. CALL FOR TENNIS PLAYERS The Industrial Tennis League commences play on 9 November 1968. The Pan Am/RCA team will be playing in the "A" Division, and the first match will be 23 November 1968. Those interested in playing, please contact J D. Sigler (723-9416) or Ken Bemen (773-0280). SMYPHONY BALL The First Annual Symphony Ball, "A Night In Vienna", sponsored by the Women's Association of the Brevard Symphony Orchestra, will be held on Saturday, November 9, from nine to one, at the Kennedy Hilton. The Knights of Melody Orchestra will play for dancing. Tickets are $12. 00 per couple and may be obtained as follows: North Brevard: M^s. Jacob Hannemann, 267-1694; Mrs. Margaret Gandy, 267-7689. Central Brevard: Mrs. Nelson Wirman, 632-8959; Streep's Music, U.S. 1, Cocoa. South Brevard: Mrs. H. E Redding, 723-9261; Hopkins Jewelry, 232 New Haven, Melbourne; Band Box, 5th Ave. , Indialantic. IEEE CONVENTION The latest in the state of the art hardware and systems equipment will be exhibited at the Seventh Annual Region III IEEE Convention in Cocoa Beach, November 18-20, it was announced by Denton Clark, general chairman. Coupled with this attraction will be seminars and sessions covering a broad spectrum of technical subjects, including antennas, computers, telemetry and space electronics. Two of the country's largest technical societies have teamed up for the Convention. The Canaveral Section of the IEEE is sponsoring the technical sessions and the Instrument Society of America is managing the exhibits. Approximately 30 industrial organizations are contributing displays to the exhibit area in the Gold Room of the Ramada Inn. Exhibit hours are 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday; 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday. More than 50 technical papers will be presented dealing with a wide range of technical disciplines. Sessions will be held at the Ramada, Sheraton Cape Colony and Holiday Inn Motels. In addition, four intensive refresher seminars will be offered to update engineers in new sciences and techniques. Experts in the field of electrical and electronic engineering will provide instruction in electrical protective devices, integrated circuits, programming and time share computers. LOST A copy of the film "Cape 66" was returned to Pan Am from White Sands. The return address had no individual's name. If anyone knows the whereabouts of this film, please notify C. Emery, 494-5875.
