PAN AM EMPLOYEES NAMED AS UNITED FUND LOANED EXECUTIVES Two Pan Am employees have been named as loaned executives for this fall's United Fund campaign. Robert Endsley has been assigned to the Construction Unit of Commerce & Industry for the first shift beginning mid-September with Chris Nissen assigned to the Finance Division for the second shift in early October. Sixteen aerospace companies have loaned a total of 26 executives to aid in this fall's drive with emphasis upon the Commerce and Industry Division and new prospect accounts. All executives will undergo a one-day training session in early September and are assigned on staggered three-six week shifts at which time they will work full-time out of United Fund headquarters on Merritt Island. The campaign will kick-off September 23 and run through October to raise operating funds for some 26 United Fund agencies and programs in Brevard County. SECURITY REMINDER Your Pan Am Security Department Reminder for the Week: If you are currently cleared and work with classified information, by this time you should have read and self tested yourself on Air Force Pamphlet 50-47, Communications Security. This is a continuing requirement and AFETR requires it be done at least once annually. Make sure your test date and your score are formally recorded each time by your Supervisor. ROAD BLOCKS TO COST SAVINGS This will hold them: "We're not ready for it yet. " An engraved master stamp die accompanied the Apollo 11 Astronauts on their historic journey. The die will be used to produce a special jumbo-sized, 10-cent airmail postage stamp commemorating man's first landing on the moon. The "Moon Landing" commemorative stamp will be issued with first-day ceremonies in Washington D. C. late this month. Persons desiring first-day cancellations may send addressed envelopes, together with remittances to cover the cost of the stamps to be affixed, to the Postmaster, Washington, D. C. 20013. A close-fitting enclosure of postal card thickness should be placed in each envelope and the flap either turned in or sealed. The outside envelope should be endorsed "First Day Covers 10£ First Man on the Moon Stamp. " Orders for covers must not include requests for uncancelled stamps. Collectors should bear in mind that this is an over-sized stamp and covers should be addressed low and as far to the left as possible. HOMES AND PROPERTY FOR SALE 1.
