The course will cover human relations, business administration, financial statements, secretarial procedures and practice dictation. ALSAC SAVING LIVES ALSAC - St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee is one of many institutions supported by Pan Am's One Donation Club. Following is an excerpt of a letter from Danny Thomas, President and Founder of ALSAC, sent to OD Club Chairman Art Biagiotti: "More than one-third of all of the patients ever treated at St. Jude's for leukemia (cancer of the blood-manufacturing bone marrow) are still alive. Just ten years ago, leukemia was always fatal. And --nearly one-half of the children treated here for solid cancerous tumors are also still living. Many in both groups will enjoy full life spans. " RUNGE ELECTED TO NEW POST WITH CREDIT UNION Pan Am's Walter W. Runge was elected second vice president and a member of the Executive Committee of the Florida Credit Union League at the annual meeting held during August in Jacksonville. He has been active in League affairs for four years, having served the organization as a member of the Board of Directors and, most recently, as second vice president and member of the Executive Committee. Mr. Runge is president of the Patrick AFB Credit union and has served in that capacity for four years. He has held various other positions of responsibility in the Credit Union since becoming a member in 1963. Mr. Runge is Supervisor, Physical Inventory in ASD's Financial Administration Department.
