AEROSPACE SERVICES DIVISION SAFETY SLOGAN OF THE WEEK Don't be a traffic chiseler - obey all the rules. EDUCATION ASSISTANCE Employees taking courses under the Division's Education Assistance Program are urged to report any course change, withdrawal or cancellation of approved courses as soon as such changes occur to the Training Section, CBO, MU 150, Telephone 784-5418/5419. SPACE CONGRESS PAPERS All ASD employees planning to submit papers for presentation at the Sixth Space Congress are reminded that at least six weeks are required for clearance of technical papers. If you have any questions regarding clearance of papers please call Public Relations, 494-5784. CLINIC PLANNED , FUND DRIVE SCHEDULED A therapeutic clinic for children will be constructed in the Melbourne-Eau Gallie area by the Nile Grotto. On January 18 a kickoff drive to obtain funds for construction will begin with the annual monarch's ball. All proceeds from the ball will go to the building fund. A donation of $2. 50 for tickets will cover the cost of food and entertainment furnished by the Silvertines. The ball will be held at the Melbourne Civic Auditorium and will begin at 8:30 p. m. For tickets and reservations call Ed Duke at 254-2413 or Jim Smith at 723-1681. Poehler will present a paper at the "Results of Measurements" session of the 5th Plume-Signal Interference Symposium. The Symposium will be held at Patrick AFB on January 22, 23 and 24. Dr. Poehler will discuss - Measured inflight spectral characteristics of solid propellant exhaust plume modulation and evaluation of the effects of flame noise on tone modulated FM and on FSK/FM range control systems.
