Deadline 12 noon Thursday for the following Thursday's paper. SAFETY SLOGAN OF THE WEEK Drivers be dependable - children aren't expendable. ATTENTION HUNTERS, MARKSMEN AND GUN ENTHUSIASTS Federal regulations place restrictions on the registration, transportation and mailing of firearms. Additionally, Pan Am SPI 29-03-316 and 11-02-034 state ASD policy on shipping such items through Company channels. Employees who intend to purchase or ship firearms should consult the applicable regulations and procedures beforehand. Michael Panulla of 575 Azalea Lane in Vero Beach joined Pan Am in July 1957. He was an electrician at Valkaria. DAY AT THE BALLPARK All employees are invited to "A Day at the Ball Park", promoted by the Pan American Management Club. Reduced price tickets are available at the Travel Offices at CKAFS, CBO and the Tech Lab, for the March 15 game between the Houston Astros and the Minnesota Twins at the Cocoa Stadium. Game time is 1:30 p.m. Prices are $1.25 for adults and 50£ for children. Let's show the Astros that Pan Am is behind them. SECURITY REMINDER I.E.E.E TO MEET Your Pan Am Security Department Reminder for the Week: Each time you have occasion to leave your working area insure that you check your desk top for classified information or equipment. TOASTMISTRESS CLUB Are you interested in learning how to communicate and how to acquire poise and self-confidence? Platinum Coast Toastmistress Club meets 1st Tuesday at 7:45 p.m. in First Federal Savings & Loan, Ninth Street, Eau Gallie and 3rd Tuesday at 7:45 p.m. in First National Bank, Strawbridge Avenue, Melbourne. Meetings are open to interested women. For further information call Tillie Weiss 254-3810. RETIREMENTS The following employees retired 1 March 1969. C.E. McClure, Supervisor of Records Storage joined Pan Am in November 1955. He lives at 208 Bedford Place, Cocoa, Florida 32922. The Engineering Management Group of the I.E.E.E. will meet Thursday, 13 March 1969 at the Holiday Inn, Cocoa Beach. Social hour is at 6 p.m. , dinner at 7 p.m. and the meeting at 8 p.m. The speaker will be Colonel John H. Boyle, Executive Officer, Air Force Eastern Test Range. His subject will be "Decision Making in Management. If you can't make the dinner, come to the meeting. GOING MY WAY I.
