SAFETY SLOGAN OF THE WEEK An open road doesn't mean open up. LONDON SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA Once again the Florida International Music Festival will present the London Symphony Orchestra. The Festival starts July 18 with concerts scheduled through August 11. Music lovers in the area will have the opportunity to hear such famous personalities as Andre Previn, Robert Shaw, Frederick Fennell and others conduct the magnificent London Symphony Orchestra. For information on group rates and how tickets may be purchased locally, please call Steve Fischler, 494-5946 or 773-3349. TRAVEL CLUB MEETS 12 JULY The Pan Am World Travelers will meet at the Cape Colony July 12. This is a one time change from the normal first Friday of the month because of the July 4th weekend. Come to hear "a whale of a tale" by Max Minear and see unusual scenery. He will take you to Iceland, an emerging new tourist attraction. It's warmer than you think, and loaded with geysers and glaciers. The whaling industry is something you will want to hear about. All welcome. Arrive by 8:30 for a new adventure or earlier for coffee and travel talk. TENNIS NEWS Tennis shirts are being purchased for the Pan Am-RCA Youth Tennis Team. Youth Tennis League will be imprinted on the shirts. Pan Am and RCA emblems will be issued as soon as available. Shirts will be sold to team members for 50 cents each. Please contact Pat Miller, 853-2547, to join the team and to obtain shirts. ASOLO THEATER FESTIVAL Eleven performances weekly of six plays in repertory by the Asolo Theater Festival Company will be presented June 20 through Septerrb er 7. This series is under the sponsorship of the Florida State University and the Ringling Museum of Art. Evening performances at 8 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays; matinees at 2 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays Plays and the opening dates of each are: "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by William Shakespeare, June 22; "Antigone" by Jean Anouilh, June 20; "The Alchemist" by Ben Jonson, June 28; "The Visit" by Friedrich Duerrenmatt, July 5; "Wilde!" by Fred Gaines, July 26; "The Caretaker" by Harold Pinter, August 9. For additional information write the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art, P. O. Box 1838, Sarasota, Florida, 33578. PHYSICAL FITNESS CLASSES PROPOSED Would you be interested in attending a physical fitness class? If sufficient interest is shown, the Cocoa Beach Recreation Department will conduct classes in physical fitness for men and women. Classes will last from six to eight weeks. If you would like to participate in these classes call 783-9250. VEHICLE REGISTRATION AT PAFB Employees who are assigned at PAFB are reminded of the necessity to register their vehicles with PAFB Security Police. You must register your vehicle when you are first assigned to PAFB or when you purchase a new car which you plan to drive on the base.
