NEWS BRIEFS AEROSPACE SERVICES DIVISION SAFETY SLOGAN OF THE WEEK Drive defensively - don't trade a seat in your car for a bed in the hospital. INSURANCE TIPS The Fall quarter of our schools and colleges will soon be in session. This is a reminder that dependent children who have reached 19 years of age are not covered under the employee's dependent Group Hospital coverage. To requalify, a dependent child must be a registered student in legal full-time attendance at a high school, college or university. The employee must complete a student enrollment card and pay an applicable monthly premium. Contact Employee Services, CBO, extensions 5671 or 5672 for enrollment cards. WEST VIRGINIA DAY AND PICNIC The Annual West Virginia Day and Picnic will be held at Titusville at J. C. Park, 8 September 1968. All West Vir ginians are invited. USAR SCHOOLS AVAILABLE IN BREVARD The Orlando USAR School is now offering schools in North and South Brevard County to all officers to further their military education. This includes NG, USAR, Active Service, all branches, and Services. The courses being offered are Command and General Staff (5 yr. program), including Gradute Refresher Courses, and Officers' Career Course (3 yr. program). This will also give the Officer the benefit to acquire retirement points. He lives at 5 E. Circle Dr. , Cocoa Beach. Earle Y. Aker, an industrial painter at the Cape, was hired in May of 1954. His address is Route 1, Box 640, Cocoa. Howard J. Heintz, a carpenter at the Cape, joined the company in 1957. His current addres is c/o Robert Simpson, P. O. Box 5403, Indian River City. Harold W. Ramsay who was an air conditioning and refrigeration mechanic, was hired in September 1955. He resides at Rylane Ave. , De Leon Springs, Fla. KELLEHER RECEIVES 15 YEAR PIN Gerald F. Kelleher, of Melbourne, was honored recently for completion of 15 years service with Pan Am. He joined the Latin American Division in 1953 as a stock clerk. He transferred to ASD in January of 1954. ASD Vice President R.S. Mitchell presented Kelleher with his 15-year service pin. BRUCE ELECTED DIRECTOR OF NAA Russell M. Bruce, Jr. , has been elected for a two year term as National Director of the National Association of Accountants. Bruce has also served as Treasurer, Secretary, Chair man and President of the Cape Canaveral Chapter of the accountants association. The national organization has a membership of over 64, 000.
