WEST VIRGINIA DAY AND PICNIC The Annual West Virginia Day and Picnic will be held at Titusville, Fla. at J. C. Park on 8 September 1968. All West Virginians are invited. METROLOGY SUB-SECTION MEETS The Metrology Sub-section of the Cape Canaveral Section of the Instrument Society of America will hold its next meeting on 24 September 1968. New officers will be installed and the guest speaker will be Mr. Ted Young, Section Chief of Length & Dimensional of the National Bureau of Standards. Meeting will be held at the Cape Kennedy Hilton. For further information, call F J. Deedrick, 853-9624. GALA EVENT The Melbourne -Eau Gallie B. P. O. Elks are sponsoring a Charity Ball for their Crippled Children's Hospital in Umatilla, Fla. Herb and Bobbe Piper are back by popular demand to take us on a detailed slide tour of New Zealand.
