SECRETARIAL WORKSHOP Realizing that today's secretary must be alert to the changing requirements in secretarial training and constantly improve her office skills, that typing and shorthand ability alone are not enough in today's business world, Cocoa Beach Chapter, The National Secretaries Association (International), will present "Here Comes Tomorrow" A Secretarial Workshop on Saturday 27 April 1968 at the Cape Kennedy Hilton Convention Center in Cape Canaveral. The workshop is open to everyone and local secretaries are encouraged to observe Secretaries Week the professional way by attending. WORLD TRAVELERS MEET 5 APRIL The Pan Am World Travelers meet Friday, 5 April in the old dining room of the Sheraton Cape Colony. Take a Pan Am holiday, New York office style. Chuck and Marian Thomas will show the company's advertisement movies, 16 mm in full sound and color. Keep your gold out of Europe. ACCOUNTANTS MEET 16 APRIL The regular monthly meeting of the Cape Canaveral Chapter, National Association of Account ants, will be held 16 April 1968 in the Gemini Room of the Quality Courts Motel, Cocoa Beach. The speaker will be Paul Bricker who is Price Analyst with the Directorate of Procurement, NASA. His subject will be "Cost Estimating and Contract Pricing. " Members planning to attend should advise Dick Filip, phone 494-7071. PERSONNEL ASSOCIATION SEMINAR Everett M. Goulard, Vice President Industrial Relations, Pan American World Airways, will address the Fifth Annual Cape Kennedy Personnel Association Industrial Relations Seminar, April 17-19. He will join a three member panel to discuss the topic, "The Growing Number of Contract Rejections -- Causes and Cures." Other panelists will include John N. Stewart, Group Industrial Relations Director, North American Rockwell Corp. and Lawson Wimberly, Assistant to International President, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. The seminar is being sponsored by the Cape Kennedy Personnel Association and will be held at the Quality Courts Motel, Cocoa Beach.
