SECRETARIES WEEK 18 - 24 APRIL
April 18 - 24 has been designated as Secretaries Week, with Wednesday April 21 as Secretaries Day. Following is a list of events planned by the National Secretaries Association (International).
Cocoa Beach Chapter NSA
On Sunday the Secretary of the Year will be selected. ASD Vice President R. M. Barnes will serve as a judge. The other judges will be Mrs. Marcella Dickinson, secretary to General Jones, and Dr. Maxwell King, President of Brevard Junior College.
Wednesday April 21
As a salute to secretaries in the area, the Cape Kennedy Area Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a coffee from 7 to 8:30 a.m. at the Holiday Inn, Holiday Room, Cocoa Beach. All secretaries are invited!
Wednesday evening the Cocoa Beach Chapter NSA will sponsor an orientation for any secretary interested in learning more about the organization.
Saturday April 24
A secretarial seminar will be held at Brevard Community College, Cocoa, Florida. Registration begins at 8 a.m. Fee of $5. 00 per person includes luncheon. (Students - $2.50). For further information, contact Mrs. Dorothy Mosby, 494-2462.
Melbourne Chapter NSA
On Sunday the chapter members and guests will have a breakfast at the Holiday Inn and then attend the Harbor City Baptist Church.
Tuesday April 20
Orientation at the First Federal Savings and Loan Association, New Haven Avenue, Melbourne for all secretaries and future secretaries interested in learning more about NSA.
Volume 7, No. 15 - 15 April 1971 Deadline 12 noon Thursday for the following Thursday's publication.

The front window of Penney's in the Brevard Mall in Melbourne will be the scene of a demonstration of office skills. Members of the chapter will also model fashions suitable for office wear.
APOLLO PATCH AVAILABLE
The three inch Apollo 14 patch is now available at the Pan Am Sales Stores. If you previously purchased a set of Apollo patches this is the correct size to update your collection. The price for the three inch patch is 45 £ including tax.
ANY WEDNESDAY
The big Broadway comedy "Any Wednesday" will be presented by the Indian River Players on April 16, 17, 22, 23 and 24 at the Airport Theater in Melbourne. Curtain time is 8:30 p.m. For reservations and information, call 723-1668 in South Brevard and 783-1414 in Central Brevard Admission is $2. 75 for adults and $1.50 for students (student prices valid only on Thursday and Friday nights).
The Indian River Players are also pleased to announce that the hit musical "How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying" will be presented May 28 and 29 and June 3,4,5, 11 and 12. Advance reservations for the first weekend of the musical may be made in the theater lobby during the run of "Any Wednesday. "
ACCOUNTANTS MEET 27 APRIL
The monthly meeting of the Cape Canaveral Chapter of the National Association of Accountants will be held on April 2 7 at the Holiday Inn in Cocoa Beach.
This will be a joint meeting with the Cocoa Beach Chapter of the National Secretaries Association. (cont'd p. 2)
