Fuel Lever ............................ OFF
Fire Handle .......................... PULL
First Agent After 10 Seconds .... DISCHARGE
• If fire after further 30 seconds,
Second Agent ................. DISCHARGE
Land as soon as possible.
Use Single Engine Operation procedure on Abnormal Checklist page (T).
ON GROUND ENGINE FIRE

MEA or 14,000 Ft ........................ LEVEL
Flight Attendants and Passengers.......ADVISE
Descend to 10,000 ft cabin altitude as soon as possible at a cabin rate of 300-400 fpm.
Oxygen Masks . . .. ON
Ignition . . . CONTINUOUS RELIGHT
Throttles DISCONNECT & IDLE
Speedbrake FULL
Maximum Speed .................. VMO
• If cabin altitude above 14,000 ft,
Passenger Oxygen............ GREEN LIGHT
PA Announcement ... USE OXYGEN MASKS
SMOKE SOURCE IDENTIFICATION
Land at nearest suitable airport.
Consider use of oxygen masks and goggles.
• If a smoke lightis on, use applicable Smoke checklist, page (5).
• If a smoke light is not on, check the following in order:
AIRCONDITIONING
Cockpit Airconditioning Outlets .... CHECK FOR
SMOKE OR ODOR
• If smoke or odor is present, use Airconditioning Smoke checklist page (5).
PASSENGER CABIN
No Smoking, Seat Belts....................ON
Contact Purser........CHECK LAVS, GALLEYS,
& CABIN
• If galley smoke or fire, keep oven door closed except to fight fire. Set galley switchlight to shed.
• If cabin light smoke, turn cabin lights off at cabin lighting panel.
• If lavatory smoke, close door except to fight fire. Pull associated lavatory CBs on panel in cabin ceiling adjacent to lavatories.
• If smoke stops, use normal ventilation to evacuate residual smoke.
APU FIRE
Fire Handle Agent After 10 Seconds Master Switch PULL DISCHARGE OFF
• If fire warning persists, Land as soon as possible.
RUNAWAY TRIM
Trim Wheel HOLD
Pitch Trim Switches CHECK OFF
Use manual trim or the good electric trim system if it can be identified.
