The Bob Simms Collection

The Bob Simms Collection documents the life and activities of Robert H. Simms in the black communities of Coconut Grove and Miami.

Charles Deering Collection

The Charles Deering Collection at the University of Miami Libraries consists of albums and photographs from Florida, Spain and Portugal, including images of his homes and family members.

Coral Gables Garden Club Scrapbooks

Organized in 1925, the Coral Gables Garden Club has promoted gardening and community beautification in Coral Gables for over 80 years. The Coral Gables Garden Club Scrapbooks provide information on Club activities from 1925 through 1944.

Lillian Frow Peacock & Eunice Peacock Merrick Collection

Photographs showing the Frows, Peacocks, and other families at recognizable landmarks in historic Coconut Grove. Extended family and neighbors are portrayed in images dating from the 1860s through the early 1900s.

Reclaiming the Everglades

Travel, Tourism and Urban Growth in Greater Miami

This archive contains selected images from eight collections in the University of Miami Libraries Special Collections Division and narrative that examine the variety of elements that have shaped travel, tourism, and urban growth in Greater Miami. It was developed by Dr. Robin Bachin, Charlton W. Tebeau Associate Professor in the University of Miami History Department, in collaboration with the University of Miami Libraries.
