Earl W. Sutherland, Jr., M.D. (1915-1974) was a pioneering American pharmacologist and physiologist who isolated cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cyclic AMP) in 1956. His research notebooks track of the details of his Nobel prize winning research between 1946 and 1971, and include biographical and bibliographical information, as well as Dr. Sutherland's Nobel prize lecture.
Swingle Plant Anatomy Digital Archive The Swingle Plant Anatomy Digital Archive features an historical collection of over 1,700 images from more than 250 species of plants collected from all over the world. The images are digitized micrographs of parts of plants that were sectioned, stained, and permanently mounted to a glass slide.
