The Cuban Photograph Collections
Spans a wide range of topics related to Cuba and the Cuban diaspora. Highlights include historical images from the War of Independence against Spain (1895-1898), and photochroms important to the history of photography taken in Cuba at the end of the Spanish-American War by renowned American photographer William Jackson

Contains primarily travel and family photographs from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Donated by Cuban Heritage Collection pioneer Rosa Abella, this collection consists mainly of collectible reproductions of Cuban emblems and calendar cards of revolutionary figures.

Andrew Giel Photograph Collection
Andrew Giel visited Cuba as a tourist 10 times between September 1955 and December 1959. Fifty years later, Mr. Giel printed 8 x 10 enlargements from the original slide transparencies. Those prints are found in this collection. They include views from across the island, including Havana, Trinidad, and Santiago de Cuba.
