Was Surgeon Of The Hospital At Bueaufort South Carolina When There He Had 9 Doctors Under Him 100 Nurses And 2000 Sick And Wounded. He Was The Youngest Doctor. Was Stationed At St Augustine Florida A While When He Was At Beau Fort S.C. Clara Barton Was His Head Nurse. After The Civil War Closed He Was Sent By The Government To Fort Casper Wyoming To Take Charge Of The Hospital There. He Was At One Time Surgeon General Of The G.A.R.
