Summary	Document signed in Jatía, Oriente, by José Martí and General Máximo Gómez addressed to the chiefs and officers of the town of Jiguaní. The document states that it had come to their attention that cattle was allowed to get through to the enemy supposedly by order of general Jesús Rabí. Since giving aid to the enemy in time of war was considered an act of treason they were sure that general Rabí had not given such order. Therefore, they prohibited the passage of cattle and other provisions through enemy lines and ordered that anyone making such request and presenting an order from general Rabí allowing them to get across enemy lines, be apprehended immediately and brought to general Rabí for questioning and trial
